Vehicle designs

Messing around with some vehicle designs, really getting into drawing in perspective lately. This is supposed to be a post carrier of some kind.

Gaultier at the de Yong.

I went to the big (and very interesting) exhibit on Jean Paul Gaultier at the de Yong Museum last year when I was still living in San Francisco. Did this little watercolour sketch from a photo we took at the exhibition a few days after going and it's a nice memory.

I have had a Cintiq for 6 months now, and I am still just truly enjoying playing around with it and learning all the things it can do. It is such a joy to draw back and forth with it and not commit to any shapes until towards the end of the drawing process.

A break from work is coming up and I am planning on using that time to create some more finished artwork. One of the projects I hope to complete is a series of oil paintings revolving around the theme "commuters". These are just a few quick studies to get the project started, hopefully there will be more!
